| About Me | After college I knew I wanted to become a commercial real estate appraiser. It took five years of education, testing and experience, and in 1980, I opened my own practice, Black-Smith & Richards. It is now known as Black-Smith, Bethard and Carlson, (without me). I married a man I grew up with, Craig Smith also the class of ‘70. We were an unlikely pair and still married after 43 years. There has never been a dull moment married to Craig. We have worked hard and played hard. We have a beautiful daughter, she is smart and a big personality. I’ve experienced everything with a motor; boats, planes, motorcycles, snow machines, RV’s, Razors and Argos. I love miniature poodles French Bulldogs and black Labrador’s. We winter in Palm Desert CA and spend our summers across from Homer at Jakolof Bay, but Anchorage is Home. Life, is the most powerful of all four letter words. It covers everything....(read more) |
