| About Me | Moved to Anchorage with my family in the fall of 1960. Went to Wendler Jr. High (now Middle School) when it first opened and was school photographer there for all three years. Started at West HS in fall of '63. Lab partner with Wally Hickel, Jr. in Geology class for a few months. My family moved back to Utah a week after the earthquake in 1964, so I was not able to graduate from West H.S., but it was still an important and memorable part of my life. In Utah I attended three additional high schools before my family settled down in Northern Utah where I graduated from high school and then got a B.S. degree from Utah State University. I was engaged in outside sales of office equipment and supplies for local, national and international companies for 46 years, retiring in early 2016 following the passing of my wife. We were married for 48 years. Three children: oldest son a mechanical engineer for Pratt and Whitney (aircraft engines), second son a welder for a metal fabrication company. and youngest, a daughter, a black belt in martial arts, a Marine wife and a mother of four. Though my time in Anchorage was short, I still think of it as an important part of my life and still think of the close friends I made there, even though I have lost contact with all but one or two of them.
