West Florence Alumni Christmas Dinner/Party

Saturday, December 18th from 7:00pm - 12:00am

Location: Elks Lodge on Jody Rd. in Florence, SC (excess to Jody Rd. behind the main post office or from off Hoffmeyer Rd.)

There is a GREEN light for this event. Thanks to the responses of our fellow Knights. Please try to attend. This is the 1st Annual Christmas gathering for West Florence.

We understand December is a time for family but it could also be a time for friends. This is the last Saturday before Christmas and some of you may not be in town until the next week but it's ok. We understand and respect others schedules.

The cost is $10. Ten dollars will get you a dinner and a picture.

West Florence Upocoming Events

Ok, West Florence has one party/gathering down and plenty more to go. Let's get together and have more Alumni events. We are meeting to discuss more tjhings to do for the future. A few of you are wondering why West Florence does not do anything for their alumni. Well, I guess because no one is stepping up to the plate to do something about it. Where are all the class officers? If this is going to be an alumni thing, we all... need our input. I'm more sure a few of you have ideas floating in your brain so bring those ideas to Ruby Tuesday this Saturday. We need to meet more often to know the whens, wheres, and whats in advanced. This is not mandatory but I would like it if you come. It will not be the last meeting so don't change your plans or make any special trips. This is a start to get things going for the West Florence Knights.
The first question will be: Is it too early or too late to be talking about doing something for Christmas? I understand it is family time. I understand a few of you may be tight on money and other stuff. (including me) Just give the feedback here on bring your thoughts and opinions Saturday.

Let me throw some ideas---this could be a start

1. Teen Institute----we could so something in honor of Coach Alsberry
2. Christmas Dinner/Party
3. Tailgating after Homecoming
4. Family Day @ West Florence School
4. Fashion Show
5. Track Meets, Basketball, Football-any tyoe of "fun" sports event
6. Reunions-go on cruises or trips as a class

Come on people--let's get the KNIGHTS together!!
