Dear Classmates,

Wow, it’s hard to believe that 50 years have passed by so quickly!! We have planned our 50 year class reunion for September 14 & 15. This is West Fest weekend and some of the other activities include the parade on Saturday. You can check the West Fest website for additional information.

On Friday, September 14, we will have an optional golf outing at Maple River Golf Course in Mapleton at 11am. Cost is $29 which includes a cart. Contact Skip Wetzstein at 701-371-1975 or e-mail skipwetz@gmail.com to register.

On Friday night, we are planning an informal gathering at Prairie Supply, located at 524 7th Ave NE, West Fargo at 7 pm. BYOB but food will be available (probably burgers)

The West Fest Parade is Saturday afternoon at 1pm. We will have a section blocked off for the class of ’68 at the West Funeral Home parking lot. (address 321 Sheyenne.) If you are able, please bring a chair to sit on. We will try to have some extras there.

On Saturday night, we will have a meal at the West Fargo VFW. The new building is located on Sheyenne, one block south of the old building. Social hour will be at 5:30 pm and the meal at 6:30 pm. We have a choice of 2 entrees: steak or shrimp. We will have a short program including a time to share memories of the class of ’68. If you have a memory to share, and you aren’t able to attend, please write it up and forward to the committee. The price will be $30 per person. The price includes the meal and a commemorative cup. The deadline for registration is Friday, August 24.
