NDSU (1973-1983) with a couple of years in French Canada, and a couple more cooking, driving truck, splicing phone cables to pay for it * Teaching school in Belle Fourche SD (summer grad school; sang at Statue of Liberty rededication 1985?) * Grad degree in Houston (summer opera season roles, Houston Grand Opera chorus, church musician....) * Pretty much in Japan since 1987 - scores of solo vocal performances in Nagano and Tokyo ; soloist (and ONLY non-Japanese singer) for the 1998 Olympic premier of "Zenkoji Monogatari Opera", sang the title role in the fully-staged "Marriage of Figaro" May 2007, followed by the long-awaited Marriage of Joe 2 months later * now, a...(read more)
