| About Me | An active and ardent performer of both ‘classical’ music and traditional style Celtic music, violinist-composer David Matthew Brown merges passion with ingenuity. He has performed as a soloist with the Newark and University of Delaware Symphony Orchestras – as the winner of each respective concerto competition – as well as the West Chester University Chamber Orchestra, and the Csik Chamber Orchestra of Csíkszereda, Romania, with which he was also guest concertmaster. His compositions have been commissioned and/or premiered by such institutions and ensembles as the International Opera Theater, Philadelphia’s Network for New Music, NYC’s LINK Ensemble, The 6ixwire Project, and the Csik Chamber Orchestra.
