Her service is at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wesley Chapel.? She was born in Morehead City July 7, 1951, to the late Willard and Patricia Rose Thorne.? Rose is survived by a daughter, Patricia Long, husband Michael and their children Ella and Kaylin Long, all of Trinity; a son, Michael Anthony Scott, fiancée Jennifer Slater and their children Anthony, Caleb and Morgan Scott, all of Cape Carteret; an aunt and uncle, Lois and Jim Parker of Morehead City; and an uncle and aunt, Mel and Irene Parker of Pensacola, Fla.?
