Deceased Name: OLIVE HILL MAN DIES IN CYCLE CRASH
ENTERPRISE -- A 24-year-old Carter County man died Wednesday after his motorcycle ran off Ky. 174 at Enterprise, state police at Ashland said.
Mark Allen Howerton of Olive Hill was dead on arrival at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead.
The accident occurred about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. The westbound motorcycle ran off the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned. Mr. Howerton was not wearing head gear, police said.
Mr. Howerton was the son of Burl Edward Howerton of Belleville, Mich., and Mary Jean Burton Biggs of Olive Hill.
