About Me	My full legal name is George Louis Marzeck, Jr. My nickname Kip was given to me by my parents on the day I was born (so they told me) to avoid calling me Junior. It was a nickname my dad had only briefly in the U.S. Navy during World War II, but my parents liked it. I'm currently 5'8" (shrank from 5'10½" as I aged) tall and weigh about 176 lbs. average (164-186 lbs. range in the last year) with hazel eyes and balding reddish-highlighted brown hair turned partially gray and white if I don't shave my head, beard and mustache. Due to lack of sufficient use, out of my foreign language studies I can only speak, read and write French fluently. However, I can still speak, read and write some Spanish, German, Dutch, Latin, Italian and Portuguese plus small amounts of several other European languages. I have relatives living in and near Gliwice, Poland, but my command of Polish is still not very good now. It decreased after my father died, but it is improving again slightly thanks to communicating with my family in Poland and visiting there for a week in August 2015. My trip to Europe also gave me some good practice in hearing, speaking, reading and writing French, German and Italian especially, besides some Polish, Spanish, Russian and Dutch. I also started to learn some Czech while in Prague. My dad, George Sr., lived from 2/22/1924 to 9/17/2006 and my mom, June Alice (Gass) lived from 2/2/1926 to 4/19/2010.
