About Me	Since high school, I've been a professional journalist (both as a copy editor and reporter/columnist). I've played semipro football in Dallas and in Baton Rouge; I've accepted my calling to preach and have recently started a home-based, nondenominational church. On March 3, 2008, which was my birthday, I moved back to Beaumont after being gone 20 years.
