The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!..." Grew up on the water...spent summers on a "rustic" little island ("Fisherman's Island") off the S. shore of L.I.; no running water or electricity. (That's right: an outhouse, hauling water, reading by a Coleman lantern). Factoids: At 16, hitched from NY to Ft. Myers, FL, hopped on a shrimp boat and spent the summer off the coast of Spanish Honduras...got back one day before school started for my Sr. year... and, yes, there are some great stories here!
