| About Me | After graduation, I left Babylon and joined the Navy. I served almost four years in the Navy and then returned to Babylon, attending Farmingdale University and working at the Naval Training Device Center in Port Washington. I also played in a rock band on weekends at the Empire Room in Lindenhurst. In 1965, I took a job with the State Dept, Foreign Service. I left NY for places like Cyprus, United Kingdom, West Africa (Guinea and Senegal), Honduras, United Kingdom again, and finally Greece. During that period 1965-1995, I traveled most of the world in my jobs with the State Department Foreign Service, Department of Defense, and the Central Intelligence Agency. I retired from the CIA and the Government in January 1995. I married Cathi in May of 1965. Cathi was also a government employee hailing from Minnesota. We lived together in all those countries and eventually we had two children, Christina and Peter. Both Children are now grown, and we are blessed with five Grandchildren.
