About	BRIAN ALLEN MCNARY 1960-2011 Brian Allen McNary passed away on May 21, 2011 after a brief fight with pancreatic cancer. Brian was born September 2, 1960 at St. Joseph%u2019s Hospital in Aurora, IL to Virtus and Marilyn (Allen) McNary. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop #55 at age 14. He played the cornet in the Marching Band and worked lights and sound in the theater at West Aurora High School, where he graduated in 1978. Brian earned an Associate Degree from Waubonsee Community College in 1981 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University in 1985. He was employed by Jewel Food Stores, and enjoyed working in foodservice his entire life. Brian could make friends wherever he went. He especially enjoyed his golf trips to Jamaica with friends. He cherished the companionship of his cat Sam, and loved watching his favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs. He is survived by his parents, his sister Karen (Chris) Mang, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lester and Bernice Allen, his paternal grandparents Gladden and Mary McNary, his uncle Merle Allen, and his cousin Mya McNary. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 143 First St., Batavia, IL. 60510. Brian%u2019s family would like to thank the VNA of Fox Valley Hospice for their thoughtful and compassionate care of Brian and his family during this difficult time.
