About Me	Retired from a career in public relations and communications, including 14 years as Communications Director at a large public library district. Lived overseas for two years after attending the University of Wisconsin, then returned to Wisconsin and lived in Waukesha and Fort Atkinson before moving to Oregon in 1978. Finally finished my degree, moved to Vancouver and married Mike Koon in 1992. We have five children in a happily blended family - my two boys, and Mike’s son and two daughters. We spent 20 years completely remodeling a 1950s ranch house, including a small attached apartment where our younger daughter lives. We’re additionally fortunate to have our older daughter and our three grandchildren living in a house right next door. Our sons and their partners all live nearby in Portland.
