When I graduated from WA in 65 I was unsure of where my future was taking me as many are. I graduated from IUP in 1969 and started working for a large insurance company. Then in 1970 I was drafted into the US Army and served as an intelligence analyst. In 1973 I enlisted in the Pa State Police. I had a very interesting career serving in patrol firearms instructor and hostage negotiator with the Special Emergency Response Team. I went on to be promoted to Corporal then Sergeant ending my tour as senior patrol sergeant in Butler. I retired in 2002 and my wife and I moved to Florida. She passed away in 2019 and I moved back to Pa. The bottom line is the education I received at WA helped me to succeed in the paths I chose
