I am DOC Gilli land, I lost my class ring in Vietnam in 1970 so I will never be able to wear the one thing that made. I have been lost for a long, I know people will probably laugh reading this, but I really do not care. I am proud to have graduated from Wells ton High school. How I lost my ring, me and my team were in a firefight deep in the jungle it was so hot and sweaty, that when I grabbed a grenade and pulled the pin and threw it, but in the process my class ring went with, it fell about10 yards in front of me,my 60 gunner said are you going to go after it I looked at him and said are you crazy, If I tried to get it I would have been Killed. I have been haunted ever since.
