About	Wellsboro High School activities: Cheerleading, Chorus, Art Club, Drama Club. Donna Marie Patt was born 07 March 1939 in Morris, Tioga County, PA. Daughter of Paul Patt and Elizabeth "Betty" Bertsche Patt. Donna passed away 18 July 1983, Finksburg, MD with family by her side. Donna Marie delivered the auditorium introduction of the new Wellsboro Joint Senior High School in 1957. For the Wellsboro HS 1957 "Hansel and Gretel" operetta, Donna provided piano music and piano selections between the three acts for which she received special awards for her faithful, talented service as an accompanist. Donna completed student teaching at Mansfield High School where she formed a life-long friendship with Joyce Tice. Donna graduated from Mansfield State College in 1961 with a BS in Mathematics; member of Sigma Zeta, Kappa Delta Pi, A.C.E., W.A.A., Newman Club, Art Club, College Players, Cheerleading, Who's Who, and Carontawan Staff. Donna completed a 1965 post graduate Mathematics program at Bucknell University and received a 1969 MS in Science from Rutgers University. Inspired by her Aunt May, life-long Wellsboro Area School Teacher, Donna taught 11-12th grade Trigonometry and Calculus at Troy and Harrisburg PA for 5 years and Westminster MD High School for 17 years. Along with car rides, sunshine, polkas, and music; Donna enjoyed dining out, singing, dancing, sewing, playing piano, advising cheerleaders, visiting with people, being with friends and family. Predeceased by her mother Betty; Aunt Louise Bertsche; Uncle Eugene Bertsche; brothers Paul and Stanley Patt. Survived by Aunt Mary "May" Bertsche Willard; Uncle Harry E. "Jack" Willard; cousin Kathryn Steele Willard; Uncle Charles Bertsche; and cousins in PA, NJ, NY, GA, FL. Christian Burial Mass at St. Peter’s; burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA, Rev. Michael J. Sullivan officiated.
