About Me	I retired from teaching history at Duke University. My first husband, John Grimes, and I enjoyed scuba diving and travel until his death in 2000. In 2002 I married Jim Knox with six children. He was older than I so we have combined eight children, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
