About Me	I graduated from Mizzou in '82, worked as a stringer for the Kansas City Times for awhile, then joined the Army. I served in Japan, Korea and with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). After the Army, I lived in Hawaii working for Boeing Aerospace, then went to graduate school at Boston University. After finishing a master's degree, I went to work as a journalist at the Ithaca (NY) Journal because my husband was still at Cornell. I later was promoted to the Star-Gazette newspaper in Elmira, NY; and in 2000 was promoted again to a position at the Cincinnati Enquirer.
