About Event
This is a special one. The big 5-0. As President of the Class of 1967 I heartily invite members of other classes, especially from 1963 (those who initiated us) thru 1971 (those we initiated). In other words, members of classes with whom we drank Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew at Flup's, Deanie's, and Allison's. Those lads we watched play basketball and beat the Wildcats of West Hazleton, the Olympians of Jim Thorpe, the colts of Marian Catholic. Those ladies and gents with whom we danced at the high school dances or at Eurana Park Pavilion.
I hope you get the picture. I and my class want you to join us.
I will have a trivia contest to jog your brain about the media events during our high school years and to jog your grey cells about the teachers and school events. The trivia contest will start with a celebrity photo ID and end with the ever popular Name That Tune- the hits that made us wear out the high school gym floor.
Rumor has it that Hugh is offering rides in his white VW bug.
I will provide a few bottles of Hai Karate after shave.
Steve is promising to provide glass tubes from Tung Sol for nostalgic purposes.
Jack Hartz is providing quarts of Stegmaier beer.
