| About Me | I have navigated the LA freeways, NYC subways, and the cairns in Canyonlands. I have felt the mist of Niagara Falls on my face, and smelled the smoke from the WTC fires on 9/11. I’ve eaten beignets in New Orleans, reindeer in Stockholm, BBQ in Kansas City and sipped Sangria along the Mediterranean in Barcelona. I gave a eulogy for someone I loved. I’ve slept under the stars along the Rio Grande, in a tent on the shore of Lake Superior, on the sand in Newport Beach and on ridiculously high thread-count sheets in fancy hotels. I make pies with my Grandma for Thanksgiving and scrapbooks for my mother. I was SCUBA certified in the warm waters of Aruba and made snow angels during a blizzard in Toronto I watched the birth and death of a child, an entire life in four-hours and thirty-five minutes. I have been to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, tiptoed across the headwaters of the Mississippi River, and sunburnt myself along the English Channel I have had my heart broken, and I have broken hearts. I played violin onstage at Carnegie Hall and danced until dawn in Lisbon, Portugal. I love making to-do lists and organizing closets, especially if plastic bins are involved A bottle of good red wine doesn’t stand a chance around me I have been mesmerized by the reflections of mountains reflecting themselves in the cold, mirror-like waters of a Norwegian fjord. I am a daughter, a sister, a niece, a grand-daughter, a cousin and a friend. I’ve followed the rules, and I have broken them I wear bright lipstick while competing in triathlon. I dated boys in bands, and ended up with an 11-year career (to date) in the music industry My hair has been brown, blonde, red, and black. Short and long. And sadly, I did have big scary bangs once upon a time. Even worse, there are pictures. I can bait a hook, catch a fish, clean it, cook it and eat it. Not saying I’ve actually done that start to finish… but I could. If I wanted to. My house in college was destroyed by a tornado I carve pumpkins at Halloween, dye Easter Eggs in the Spring and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with my family.
