About	Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 at the age 76 in Hospice Palm Harbor, the spirit of Kent Dils, hunter, cowboy, fisherman, departed this world to be with Jesus in paradise, to await judgement day. Kent was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 1, 1945. He was adopted at birth by now deceased parents, Charles and Glenna (Minnich) Dils. Kent moved to Florida in 1973. Kent was a loving husband, father, and trusted friend to many. His enormous personality and wonderful sense of humor and wit will be missed greatly. KD's love of the Outdoors is reflected in his passions. He served as Chairman of the Bay Area Friends of The NRA for 29 years. Kent was also President of the Wyoming Antelope Club and served as Vice-President of Safari Club International. KD was an avid reader, enjoyed hunting and the shooting sports. He loved his dogs and liked country and bluegrass music. He could look at a blueprint and build you anything you wanted. Kent is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara; daughters, Trisha Laughery (Jim); granddaughters, Holly and Summer; and Tawny Davidsen; step-sons, Jack and David Dean; nephew, James Dils; niece, Jennifer Bolton
