Please join us at the new Wayne High School Saturday 7/8 at 12:00 p.m. for a get together and tour of the new Wayne High School, hosted by Mr. Jay Minton, Head Football Coach and Athletic Director.
They are hosting a Braxton Miller Football Camp on that day, so there will be a lot of little guys running around at the football field. Hopefully the weather holds up and they will not have to bring them inside. The facility will be open as long as we need it to be. There is no fee for the tour. We will meet in the gym for announcements, and giveaways. The only issue is if the weather is bad then the football camp will move inside, but we will adapt and assemble in the ITC (Library) to begin the tour. Mr. Minton will be able to walk you through the whole school if you would like (bring your sneakers) that is strictly up to you. They want the class of 77’ to see that we have a ton of great things going on here at Wayne. We can walk to the stadium even with the camp going on, it will be neat for those that have not seen it yet. You may have your photo taken wherever you feel is the best spot. There is not a maximum number and friends and family are welcome, please RSVP so we will have an idea of how many will be attending. As of right now, Mr. Minton is our only tour guide so if we have a big crowd am not sure if you get too many more that they can hear what is said about the tour. However, if we need to, we can always use a “bull horn”!
