About Me	After graduating from Wayne Valley, which was a constricting, pedantic de-education, I went to Bennington College in Vermont, specializing in Literature and Music. I continued with my horse-riding there. After graduating I went to Europe, doing a lot of volunteer peace work in Denmark, Germany, and Poland. In Poland I had the honor of helping Solidarnosc,the worker's trade union which contributed to overthrowing the communist regime there. Back in America, I worked as a journalist, writer, copy editor, gardener, and social worker. Then went to Denmark to work and live on the then- largest organic farm in the world. Went to Dublin on a grant to study Irish literature at Trinity College, Dublin,then on to Cambridge University, where I won the Chancelloor's Medal for Poetry. Began writing lyrical verse dramas, founded the theatre company Cambridge Actors, and produced and directed my plays which were performed in Cambridge, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York City, and Italy. Inbetween all that I fell in love and married one of the professors at Cambridge. We lived in Cambridge for awhile and then moved to Boston, living in New Hampshire. Had one child, a son, who is now 13, and continued my organic farming in New Hampshire. Moved back to the UK in 2004 to a small farm with horses, cows, chickens, goats, one elderly duck, and a rescue pig. All my animals are rescue, actually, and I am vegetarian. I have been blessed with good health, and my childhood dream of a life with horses and animals has incredibly come true, as well as somehow managing a life as a writer an actually making a living at it.
