Randolph N Langer
Class of 1982
WHS Alumni,
My name is Randy Langer, Class of 1982. I’ll be running in the 2024 Boston Marathon raising funds in support of Homes For Our Troops. As a Veteran, this cause has special meaning to me, I’m well aware of the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform. Moreover, many Veterans suffered horrific injury and now need others to care for them. This cause is truly going to impact Marine Sergeant Craig Brady life in Holden, MA for years to come.
I’m encouraged by the support I’ve already received ($5009) from friends and family, but I still need help reaching my minimum fundraising goal of $10,000.
Would you be willing to make a contribution? A gift of any amount would be truly appreciated!
When I retired and my wife and I moved to Meredith, NH I was surprised by how often I’d return to Wayland. While much has changed (new WHS) much is still very much the same. One thing that’s very hard for me to grasp, seeing a new resident at the home where I grew up.
Wayland and Weston still have their rivalry, it’ll never die! They’re working on extending the rail trail beyond its current terminus by Russell’s Greenhouse. My understanding, the plan is to construct the trail from Waltham to Northampton, someday I hope to ride it.
Members of WHS, if you find it in your hearts to give, it would mean the world to me and the cause I’m supporting, please help! My thanks to you in advance.
