Sister Area

The Wawasee area has a sister area in central Florida's Highlands County. As Wawasee is made up of the three small towns of N. Webster, Syracuse and Milford. Highlands Co. consists of Avon Park, Sebring and Lake Placid. The Highlands County area is rural agriculture and has many lakes similar to the Syracuse and Webster lakes. When I went there I bumped into several 1975 classmates. Vince Neibert, Rick Ritenour and the parents of Renee Anglin were living in the Sebing Area. Any Bass Fishing nuts should look up Neibert who is a local expert.
