About Me	I moved from Waverly early the next morning after graduation. I remember a party in the woods that night. Spent the summer in Algona where my family moved and lived for over 40 yr. This was a notable summer for me because I met a guy, fell madly in love and then married him 25 yr later, but I digress. I graduated from Iowa Methodist School of nursing and practiced at that hospital until 1998. My favorite work was being part of the faculty of the same nursing program. Received my MSN from University of Minnesota, also good experience. Finished my career as an academic dean of health at Southeastern Community College in Burlington in 2010. I have a lovely daughter Sarah Jane who lives in DES Moines with her husband and 3 adorable children. This is a good place to insert that I married a nice guy from DES Moines and divorced him 17 yr. later.
