About Me	I 've tried to make a home worthy of my sweet wife and three fine children. Not so good at it, but I'm still trying. For 15 years I stood beside crack moms and delinquent daddies, trying to talk the judge out of taking their kids or their freedom, or both. Every now and then it worked. I locked and unlocked prison cells for about 8 years, while I memorized about half of the New Testament in the RSV. I've been arguing with the saved, sweet talking the lost, trying to save anyone who would listen from the coming Reconstruction, trying to write a perfect poem and finally did it, trying to get my house in order, trying to get ready to die, trying not to take much stock in life or happiness.
