About Me	Homesteaded in Alaska: built and lived in a cabin with no running water or electricity (8 years) Taught U of Alaska watercolors and drawing. Worked on a surgical ward in a hospital in Minneapolis, worked as a doctor’s assistance in a clinic in Alaska, sang in a Blue Grass band (Alaska), taught High School Art and later High School Language Arts, and taught as an ad how Professor at UWMC/Stevens Point— English comp. and Literature and various art courses. Taught adult Ed classes, judged HS debates, trained as a school counselor for AODA, ran AODA GROUPS, served in VISTA, worked with my to husband raise two fine young men, — I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I have served in many callings—playing organ, president of several auxiliaries, served in two temples. Taught many Norwegian Rosemaling classes, worked in a Women’s shelter, volunteered as an English teacher for Hmong and Hispanic immigrants. Have lived in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota.
