| About Me | "update from Jerry's little brother, R. B. Fagin (Tosa East class of 1977): Jerry passed away in 1985, and I created this listing to reconnect with my history. Jerry's real name was Gerald Clifford Cone. He only took the name Fagin as a teen when my dad married our mom. After graduation, Jerry served in the Army during the war in Vietnam, mostly in Okinawa, where he learned fluent Japanese, as a Staff Sargent. He earned a Master's in Anthropology at UWM, went on many archaeological excavations in central/southern Mexico, learned fluent Spanish, and dove deeply into the mysterious disappearance of pre-Columbian populations of native North (and Central) American Indian tribes. When Mexico stopped hiring USA archaeological teams, Jerry supervised at the Post Offiice in Milwaukee while becoming a noteworthy proponent of neighborhood improvement between Concordia and Marquette U. Jerry Cone is survived by his spouse Marlene Cone (nee Kobey), myself (brother R. B.
