| Events | Jamie Lynn Harrison (Zimmerman), 38, of Milton, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 21, 2025, due to an injury that led to medical complications. Born January 8, 1987, in Watertown, Wisconsin, she was the cherished daughter of James and Judy Zimmerman. To family and close friends, she was lovingly known as “Zimmy.” A 2005 graduate of Watertown High School, Jamie began caring for others early—working as a CNA at Marquardt Manor while still a student. She earned her radiology degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and went on to serve patients at hospitals in Edgerton and Fort Atkinson before finding her professional home at Watertown Regional Medical Center in 2011. In 2024, Jamie was given the WRMC BEE Award, recognizing her for her compassion, kindness, and caring attitude. Camping under the stars, crafting, and an occasional casino outing brought her joy. She was a true Wisconsin sports fan, never missing a chance to cheer for her Packers! An ice-cold Diet Pepsi was her constant sidekick, and planning family gatherings was easy with her around; she’d always jump in with her favorite suggestion, "Let’s just have tacos!” Jamie married Anthony “Tony” Harrison. Together they were blessed with three beautiful children: Trent (5), Tanner (3), and Kylie (18 months). Tony says it best: “We made each other better people.” Nothing lit up her world like being a mom and bringing family and friends together—she planned the gatherings, took the pictures, and made sure no one ever felt left out. Jamie lived to put others first—she had a special knack for making every single person feel important and loved. Left to carry her light are her husband Tony; children Trent, Tanner, and Kylie; mother Judy (Randy) Dyreson; mother-in-law Becky Harrison; father-in-law Terry (Mary) Harrison; sister Jodi (Justin) Zimmerman; brother Justin (Kayla) Zimmerman; step-brothers Travis (Janelle) Dyreson and Trever (Courtney) Dyreson; grandmother Kathy Engel; special uncle Craig Russel; and a large circle of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Zimmerman, and her grandparents Harvey and Shirley Zimmerman and Russel “Duke” Engel. Jamie carried a special bond with her dad, whose early passing left a space no one else could fill. We find peace in knowing the two of them are united, dancing that father and daughter dance she has been dreaming of. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Turner Hall in Watertown. A celebration of Jamie's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. The family invites everyone to remain afterward for a luncheon—gathering together with food and memories, exactly the way she would have wanted. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. |
