Events	DeForest – Brenda Lee Appenfeldt, age 67, passed away on June 14, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on February 3, 1957 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to parents Edward and Delores Dehnert. Brenda worked as a Registered Nurse for Mendota Mental Health, retiring after 30 years. She had a big heart for her dogs and was known to be the biggest dog lover. Brenda is survived by her 3 sons Christopher, Joe, and Jacob; 1 grandson Blake; siblings Patricia Appenfeldt, Ken Dehnert, Bonnie Grace, Wayne Dehnert, and Daniel Dehnert; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Phillip, Edward Jr., and Dale. A special thank you to the entire staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for their care of Brenda. Brenda’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are being held at this time.
