Events | Alan M. Ebert, age 65, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, after a brief illness at Marquardt Health Center. Born on February 11, 1960, in Watertown, Wisconsin, Alan Milton Ebert was the son of Milton and Jane (Loppnow) Ebert. After graduating from Watertown High School, he first worked at Ebert’s Farm Produce in Ixonia, then worked for Swedes Masonry in Oconomowoc, WI. Alan had a natural gift for working with his hands—he enjoyed building projects and was known for his knack for fixing things. He loved his mom’s cooking and never turned down a good cup of coffee. Alan also had an artistic side and was especially passionate about music. Alan is survived by his former wife and friend, Patricia Haimerl; Daughters, Joyce and Terrie Haimerl; step-daughter, Neal Haimerl Donner; grandchildren, Leona Haimerl, Sawyer Schroeder, and Sailer Schroeder; siblings, Diane (Dennis) O'Brien, Linda (Dave) Mickelson, and Mark (Renee) Ebert; nieces and nephews, David (Alison) O'Brien, Katie (Ryan) Montgomery, Jennifer Mickelson, and Sierra (Patrick) Meyer. Alan was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ron. A private family service will be held. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Ixonia, Wisconsin. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com. The family extends their sincere gratitude to Jeige, Brenda, Amy, and all the people that showed Alan so much care and compassion throughout the years. Also a special thank you to all the nurses and CNAs, at both the Marquardt Health Center and Watertown Healthcare Center, that have helped with Alan’s care in the last few months. A special thank you to Kimberly, who showed God's love to Alan at Birch Terrace in Fort Atkinson, for the last five years. All of you have made a special impact on Alan. We are grateful for all of you. |
