Events	Wayne P. Fitzgerald, 84, of Watertown, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025. Wayne Patrick Fitzgerald was born June 20, 1940, in Port Washington, the son of Edward and Loretta (nee Brigowatz) Fitzgerald. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1958 before joining the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. Wayne married the former Helen Miller on August 10, 1968, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Wayne dedicated over 35 years to maintenance work at Carnation, where he also took pride in painting the company’s buildings. Wayne enjoyed a variety of hobbies, from fishing for bluegill and crappies to golfing and tending to his flower garden. He was a devoted Milwaukee Bucks and Green Bay Packers fan and treasured every moment with his dog, Maddie. Wayne is survived by his wife Helen, children, Rodney Lee (Monica) Fitzgerald and Deb (Fitzgerald) Hebert; siblings, Gary Fitzgerald and Rosemarie (John) Ulmer; good friend “Fast Eddie”; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
