Events	Matthew "Uncle Dude", "Jingles" M. English, 47, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly unrelated to his fight with cancer on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Dr. Young Tae Lee of Christ United Methodist Church officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Casual clothing is suggested. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.HafemeisterFH.com. Matthew Michael English was born on June 25, 1977 to Michael and Sharon Ann (Biefeld) English in Watertown. He was a graduate of Watertown High School. Over the years he had worked for Wisconsin Aviation, Trek, Menards, and most recently at Wis-Pak in Watertown as a Warehouse Lead. Matt had an immense love for his family, and friends that were treated like family, always putting their needs before his own and fiercely protecting them from any harm. His devotion to them was evident in the way he cherished every moment spent together. The joy he found in their laughter and the special bonds they shared was evident in the way he made time for them, creating lasting memories. One of his favorite places was the family cabin, where he found peace and joy in the simple moments, whether it was cruising around the lake on the pontoon boat or gathering around the firepit. He was also known for his generous spirit, always willing to lend a hand or give to those in need without hesitation, embodying kindness and selflessness in all he did. His legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew him and he will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his father, Michael English; girlfriend, Rachel Bleecker; siblings: Vicky Ruppert, Scott (Wendy) Umland, Cheryl (Charles) Pasewald, Becky Gigl, Jeremy Umland, Erica (Peter) Bothe; brother-in-law, Greg Underwood; life-long best friend, Dave Stadler; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Matt is preceded in death by his mother; sisters: Lisa Underwood and Holly Umland; brother, Craig Umland; sister-in-law, JoAnn Zubke; brother-in-law, Terrance Marks.
