Events	Jane Ellen Rogers, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 16, 2025. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com. Jane Ellen Rogers was born on June 5, 1941, in Watertown, Wisconsin, to parents Roy and Louise (Gevers) Rogers. After graduating from Watertown High School in 1959, she went to work for AT&T, where she remained for 55 years. During those years, she became an “above-average” bowler and bowled with the Mickey Mouse Bowling Club. She was inducted into the Watertown USBC Hall of Fame on March 26, 2000. She also dedicated her time to serving as the secretary of the Women’s 600 Club. Jane enjoyed attending and watching Brewers games. Jane had a soft spot in her heart for one man—Elvis. If you had the pleasure of knowing her, you could attest to this. Jane is survived by her brother, Charles (Gail) Rogers; two nieces, Katie (Corey) Leverentz and Kellie (Adam) Quest; one great-niece, Hailey Leverentz; one great-nephew, Jeremy Leverentz; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Rogers.
