Events Robert "Bob" L. Crupi, 90, of Watertown, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at his home.



A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, with Rev. Young Tae Lee officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to the church or a charity of one’s choice. Robert "Bob" Louis Crupi was born on February 22, 1934, in Waukesha, the son of Louis and Elizabeth (nee Krebs) Crupi. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1952 before serving in the United States Army.



Following his service, Bob earned a degree in electrical engineering from UW-Madison. On April 19, 1958, he married Kathleen "Kate" Foley in Green Bay, marking the start of their life together.



Bob spent 40 years in Southern California, building a distinguished career with military contractors. His work centered on communication and guidance systems, reflecting his technical skill and dedication.



An avid ham radio hobbyist, Bob also loved sports, especially rooting for the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers. He was a proud member of Christ United Methodist Church. In his youth, he enjoyed playing flag football and softball. Bob’s adventurous spirit shone in his love for road trips and traveling thousands of miles to stay connected with his far-flung family.



Bob is survived by his wife, Kate; children, Jon (Elizabeth) Crupi, Daniel (Jeanne) Crupi, JoAnn Crupi, Susan (Gordon) Liufau, Patrick (Sarah) Crupi, and Dennis (Lizbeth) Crupi; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Ann) Crupi; sister-in-law, Nancy Crupi; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.



Bob was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Janice; his brother, William Crupi; and his sister, Ann (John) Butz.
