Events	Joyce J. Nemitz, 76, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Carina Schiltz officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown or to Rainbow Community Care. Joyce Jean Mundt was born on December 3, 1948 to Alvin and Laura (Klingbeil) Mundt in Watertown. She was a 1967 graduate of Watertown High School. Joyce worked as an LPN at Marquardt in Watertown for 47 years. Joyce enjoyed flowers and working on her garden. She liked taking photographs and was affectionately known as the Loon Lady. Joyce had a love for collecting items, particularly Loon items as well as historic Watertown memorabilia. She is survived by her husband Leroy Nemitz of Watertown; son, Shawn (Haley) Nemitz of Watertown; twin grandsons, Braeden and Cole Nemitz; as well as cousins, other relatives and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.
