Wayne "Lefty" G. Loeffler of Watertown passed away on October 9, 2023, at Park Ridge Assisted Living.
Wayne "Lefty" George Loeffler was born on April 25, 1951, in Watertown, to George "Bud" Loeffler and May Loeffler (nee Bleecker). He graduated from Watertown High School in 1969 and later pursued massage therapy studies at MATC. Lefty honorably served in the United States Army.
He began his career at Wis-Pak, moved on to become a delivery driver for Jaeger's, and subsequently worked in the SMC department at Menasha Corp. Lefty concluded his career as a janitor at Lakeside Lutheran High School.
An avid fisherman, bowler, and cook, Lefty's true joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Jason (Erin) Loeffler; Tammy (Bill) Hoefler, and Jaci Loeffler, all from Watertown; as well as his grandchildren, Cole and Carlie Hoefler. He also leaves behind other relatives and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
He chose not to have a funeral service. The family extends their gratitude to Park Ridge and Common Heart Hospice for the exceptional care provided over the past few years. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Watertown is serving the family.
