About Me	Mr. Monteen served with the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training from April, 2000 until he retired in 2015. Retired from the Crookston Police Department where he served 8 years as Chief Law Enforcement Officer. Monteen served 22 years with the Brooklyn Center Police Department where he attained the rank of Captain. Mr. Monteen’s education includes a Master of Arts Degree from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree; he is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville.
