I had a great time while serving in the Army. As a security agent, I served in Sinope, Turkey, Monterey Defense Language Institute learniing Chinese Mandarin and then duty in Taiwan with continued duty in the active reserves. I look back with a clear recognition that these years are those in which I became an adult.
