About Me	Married since October 1970. My husband and I have two beautiful children and a precious Grandson. We currently live in Clarksville, Tennessee. After high school I went into nursing and worked at L & M Hospital in New London for 1 1/2 years. I worked until the last month of pregnancy with my first child. My husband was a career soldier in the US Army. He retired in June of 1991. I enjoyed the Army life and being a military wife. I kept active during our assignments. My most memorable times were when we were stationed in West Berlin and Bamburg, Germany. Berlin was still divided and we were surrounded by the wall. We lived there for three years. Bamburg was in Southern Bavaria. The kids and I traveled throughout Europe. It was awesome. It was tough at times but we always made it through. Field training and exercises kept my husband gone quite a bit. It was always exciting when the guys came home!! We were also stationed at Fort Benning twice and Fort Drum. Fort Drum was the closest that I lived near Waterford, Connecticut. We retired and moved to Tennessee. My husband is from Alabama and talks slow and like a true southerner! I am retir...(read more)
