About Me	Married Waterford boy, Jim Parlardg. Lived in Stoney Creek, Ontario for 27 years. Jim worked for Stelio and I worked for the RBC. Jim died in 1991 from cancer. Work related illness. We had two daughters, KarenAnd Jennifer. In 1992, I relocated to the Okanagan Valley in BC. First lived in Summerland, where I met my second husband Wes Safford. We ran a small hobby farm raising horses and running a handyman service. Wes developed ALS and passed away in 2000. I moved to Farleigh Lake to a larger farm. Ran a market garden, had poultry for eggs and meat. Continued with horses for pleasure. Loved the mountain valley and my ever so unique neighbours. Grandchildren looked forward to summers and winters enjoying all aspects the valley had to offer. After 11 years, the mind was willing but the body was wearing.
