Steve was always proud of his WHRHS sports career: football, track, and wrestling. He retold stories of when Frank Zane, later a Mr Universe, was a teacher at WHRHS. Steve was an honest, kind, talented craftsman who enjoyed woodworking, restoring antiques, and classic cars. Steve was a helpful soul, always willing to teach and guide others if he could do so. He was a compassionate man who loved animals and was loyal to all who counted him as a friend.
Steve passed on January 7, 2020, after a valiant battle against Esophageal Cancer.
Steve is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol, and sons Russell (WHRHS 2001) and Alex (WHRHS 2004).
