| Favorite School Memory | "Woodsies" and good times with good people. My dad caught me "stealing" his car. I sneaked out the bedroom window, took my dad's Lincoln Continental, picked up some friends, and then "went out. " Got back home about 3 AM. Had to wash the red dirt off of the car. Crawled back into bed. My dad arose and got ready for work. He then went ot the car. He came back in the house and asked, "Son, are you awake?" I answered with a weak groan and mumbled, "Yes." "Did you use the car?" "No," I lied. "OK," he said, "but the driveway is still wet." Oops! Caught again! Had my own 4th of July firecracker business after high school graduation and then enlisted in the military. I transfered to Wasson from Hawaii where I held many records in track and field.
