Rise and shine Washington Senior High School classmates and community. This is Ameerah Rasheedah Sultan, aka Linda Anne Swann, class of 1971. No, I am not deceased. The article I wrote some years ago about the death of 'fake' news was out of concern for our safety and very survival during this season of wars and rumors of wars. Well, we can see how anything we do can be taken out of context. Above is the obituary of our younger brother, Charles David Swann Jr who passed away in 1989. Then, Michael Darnell Swann Sr, our baby brother passed away approximately 14 years later. More recently, our parents; Charles David Swann Sr and Ruby Lee Burrows-Swann both transcended in 2020. Remaining alive and well as of today are myself, and both my older sisters, Charlene Swann- Nash and Veronica Swann- Young (Taylor). Yeap, she took married twice. Veronica and I both left Ohio more than 15 years ago. But, Charlene Swann-Nash lives in Ohio. We three Swann girls dearly miss our love ones and thank all who are concerned. Please reach out to us at anytime. We would love to hear from you. More importantly, reach out to the website mentioned in my 'death of fake news' post which I again leave below. Our very survival depends upon getting this protection. Praying for all to be healthy and safe.
Respectfully,
Ameerah Rasheedah Sultan
