Following the success and fun of our 50-year reunion in August, many of our classmates say they want to get together again, and not wait 5 or 10 years for the next formal reunion. There were also quite a number of classmates who were unable to attend the 50th and a few who heard about it after it was over.
WHS 1972 classmates are planning several casual dinner nights at popular restaurants over the next year. The first will be at Nick and Jake's in Shawnee, on December 3, 2022, starting off with happy hour in the lounge at 3:30 pm, and seating for dinner at 4:00 pm. At that hour we will have the restaurant mostly to ourselves and this will make our reservation plans less complex. Spouses are welcome. We hope to see a lot of 1972 classmates there.
This will be our first such Out-On-The-Town event, and a second chance for those who couldn't make it to the August reunion. Some of you may have already seen this announcement on Facebook. There is actually a private Facebook Page "Washington High Out-On-The-Town Reunion Dinners", and you are invited to join (if you are on Facebook).. The Page was created for future gatherings and also as a contact and message forum for 1972 Washington High alumni.
