About	Jeannie Lynn Church Obituary Obituary Jeannie Lynn Church, 43, of East Peoria, died at 2:07am Monday, November 4, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on May 22, 1970 in Peoria to Earl W. and Carol A. (Guilfoyle) Lee, she married Scott A. Church on September 16, 1995 in Washington; he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Matthew and Michael Church, both at home; her parents, of Washington; two brothers, Joe Lee of Peoria and Dan (Tricia) Lee of Washington; maternal grandmother, Lucille Guilfoyle of East Peoria; father and mother in law, Gary and Barb Church of East Peoria; brother in law, Tim (Paula) Church of East Peoria; and nieces and nephews, Brooke and Jaden Lee; and Elizabeth, William, and Margaret Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Howard Guilfoyle; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Florence Lee; and an uncle, Rich Wheeler. Jeannie graduated from Washington Community High School in 1988 and from Illinois State University in 1992. She previously worked at the Peoria Park District in their human resources department and at First of America in Peoria prior to becoming a full time stay at home mom. Jeannie was an avid volunteer at her sons' schools and participated in several Relay for Life events. Most recently, she enjoyed following their sports' achievements with the East Peoria Community High School Cross Country team. Jeannie was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Washington. A Funeral Mass for Jeannie will be at 11:00am Thursday, November 7, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Washington. Father John Steffen will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday November 6, 2013, at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria, where a prayer service will be at 7:00pm. Interment will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. The family wishes to thank all of the doctors and nurses who cared for Jeannie over the last several years, especially Dr. Veeder and Dr. Bonello. Also, many thanks to the family and friends who assisted Jeannie and the boys over the last several years.
