Keith O. Sather, age 59, of Albert Lea, died Friday, Nov. 29, 1996 at his son's home in Edmond, Okla.
Mr. Sather, the son of Oscar and Iris (Swenson) Sather, was born April 20, 1937, in Albert Lea. He graduated from Waseca High School and then entered the U.S. Air Force, where he served from September 1955 until January 1960, He was united in marriage to Ruth Ottesen on June 25, 1960, at First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove. He worked for Queen Stove, Almco, Scotsman for 25 years, and then Lou-Rich Inc. until retiring one month ago. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and golfing. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Albert Lea; by two sons; by three daughters; by nine grandchildren; by five brothers; by four sisters; by one aunt, Hattie Wolff of Albert Lea by several brothers- and sisters-in-law; and by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by two brothers, Charlie and Terry Sather.
