About	Douglas was the son of Vincent and Marjorie Steinberg. His father was owner of Vincent's hardware in Wasco for many years and later City Manager. Douglas owned a Sno-White Drive-in in Modesto, worked for Matson Shipping, and various other hardware related jobs. He served in the United State Air Force and was buried at the National Cemetery in Davis, CA. His sister, Donna Steinberg also graduated from Wasco High. Doug had two children and three grandchildren. His wife Barbara, daughter Karen and granddaughter Leah live in Fairfield, CA.
